About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Best Centered Care Agency Inc. as a Light Duty Cleaner. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Housekeeping: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closets, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Laundry and Linens: Launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, and handle and report lost and found items.
Work Environment

You will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure, and be required to perform repetitive tasks. You must be able to work independently and have a strong attention to detail. The physical demands of this role include bending, crouching, kneeling, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
