Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Personal Insurance Advisor to join our team in Medicine Hat, AB. As a key member of our Personal Insurance team, you'll provide exceptional customer service, handle multiple priorities, and work collaboratively with our team to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer multi-line phones and direct client inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Manage the flow of walk-in customers and callers, ensuring their needs are met through superior customer service.
  • Process customer payments, bank deposits, petty cash management, and account coding with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Be part of the billing team, answering client calls regarding payments and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Monitor and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and couriers, ensuring timely and secure delivery.
  • Update the EPIC system and company portals consistently, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information.
Requirements
  • High School and/or Post-Secondary Education.
  • 2-5 years of experience in an office environment, preferably in a brokerage or insurance industry.
  • Strong computer skills, including keyboarding and MS Office.
  • Excellent customer focus, with the ability to handle multiple priorities successfully.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exposure to Epic is an asset, and the ability to pass a criminal background check and credit check is required.
