Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Little Geniuses Day Care Centre Inc. as a Child Development Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
Key Responsibilities- Program Development: Design and implement child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs of children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment that fosters growth and development.
- Leadership and Guidance: Lead activities and provide guidance to children, promoting their creativity, social skills, and emotional intelligence through various mediums such as art, music, and physical activity.
- Collaboration and Communication: Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to child development.
- Health and Safety: Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children, adhering to licensing regulations and industry standards.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and maintain certifications such as First Aid and CPR to ensure the highest level of care for children.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a strong commitment to child development and education is essential.
- Work Setting: This role is based in a child care centre, requiring a flexible and adaptable approach to working with children and families.
- Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required. A passion for child development and education is essential.
