Night Auditor Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our team at Slave Lake Accommodations LTD. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's front desk during evening hours.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Registration and Room Assignments: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and ensure a seamless check-in experience.
- Arrival and Departure Processing: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed.
- Hotel Information and Services: Provide guests with information on hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Departure Processing and Payment: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Cash Handling and Reporting: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure financial accuracy.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments to ensure efficient room allocation.
- Emergency and Safety Procedures: Follow established emergency and safety procedures to ensure guest safety and well-being.
- Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical tasks, including faxing, filing, and photocopying, as needed.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, answering guest inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent employment with a standard 35-hour workweek.
- Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
