About the Role

Cloverdale Topsoil Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of accounting staff to ensure efficient and effective financial operations
  • Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and other documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve financial management and control
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with business objectives and goals
  • Provide guidance and support to accounting staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field
  • Equivalent experience may be considered
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
