About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at 2276264 Ontario Inc. as a Kitchen Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our customers and align with our company's culinary vision.
    • Plan and execute menu items, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Staff Management
    • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
    • Manage staff schedules, including assigning tasks and ensuring adequate coverage during peak periods.
  • Inventory Management
    • Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary needs.
    • Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent waste and minimize costs.
  • Cleanliness and Safety
    • Ensure that the kitchen and all equipment are clean and well-maintained at all times.
    • Implement and enforce food safety and handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure the health and safety of our customers.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen management role.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English.
Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and working in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
