Position Overview:

Safe Software is seeking a dedicated FME Form Technical Support Associate to deliver exceptional assistance and uphold our commitment to outstanding customer service. In this role, you will be instrumental in sharing knowledge and expertise with our clientele, ensuring they maximize the potential of our products.

Team Dynamics:

You will be part of our Customer Success team, collaborating with fellow Technical Support Associates to enhance user experiences with FME. Your contributions will include addressing user challenges, providing insightful support, and showcasing the capabilities of FME through demonstrations and proof of concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional support to resolve customer inquiries and issues.
  • Contribute to the FME Community Q&A Forums and Knowledge Base to assist users.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create impactful product demonstrations.
  • Conduct webinars to highlight the impressive features of FME.
  • Engage with Product Managers to enhance the FME Platform based on user feedback.
  • Explore and test new FME features during beta phases.
  • Represent Safe Software at trade shows and events, sharing insights and knowledge.

Qualifications and Skills:

Essential Skills:

  • Technical proficiency with various data formats (e.g., GIS, CAD, databases).
  • Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
  • A passion for learning about new technologies and data formats.
  • Critical thinking abilities to solve complex issues effectively.
  • Collaborative spirit with a willingness to share constructive feedback.

Preferred Skills:

  • 1-2 years of experience in technical support or related fields.
  • Familiarity with FME Form and/or FME Flow.
  • Experience with CAD/BIM applications and datasets.
  • Knowledge of GIS software products.
  • Database administration experience.
  • Exposure to 3D technologies and web services.
  • Programming and scripting knowledge.
  • Experience in presenting technical information to varied audiences.
  • Proficiency in a second language is a plus.
