Echocardiography Specialist

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid certification with Sonography Canada or ARDMS
• Current BLS certification

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in performing echocardiograms autonomously
• Familiarity with contrast echocardiography techniques
• Experience with GE imaging systems
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Demonstrates expertise in digital imaging techniques

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations
• Ensure superior image quality for precise patient assessments
• Utilize critical thinking skills to gather all pertinent information
• Prioritize patient safety and confidentiality
• Monitor patients throughout procedures
• Prepare patients and equipment effectively
• Maintain thorough and accurate patient documentation
• Ensure all equipment is well-maintained and operational
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care
