At Southbridge Care Homes, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Chelsey Park London.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional resident care while following protocols and maintaining physicians' orders. This includes observing, reporting, and recording vital signs, symptoms, and conditions of residents, and initiating remedial health measures where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the highest level of care is provided to residents while adhering to established protocols and standards.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide training and support to new staff members to ensure a smooth transition into their roles.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Registration/eligibility with the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario.
- Previous experience in long-term care an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
