The Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic Personal Support Worker to join our team at Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare. As a PSW, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients, providing essential support and care in our Inpatient and Emergency Departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized support and care to patients, promoting their independence and well-being
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support patients with mobility and transfer needs
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Requirements:

  • Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
