Compensation:

  • Initial pay at $17/hour
  • Post-training pay at $17.75/hour
  • After 90 days of service, pay increases to $18/hour

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid Security License
  • Must hold a G License
  • Must have a clean driving record

Position Overview:

The Safety Patrol Officer will perform regular patrols, both on foot and in a vehicle, across various high-value locations to ensure that all access points are secure and to protect property and residents with meticulous attention to detail and safety.

  • Strategic Planning: Proficient in engaging, communicating, and executing daily patrol responsibilities while adhering to established timelines.
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding of company metrics and executing behaviors that drive performance.
  • Team Development: Effective communication with clients, team members, and management, ensuring timely feedback and follow-up.
  • Project Management: Comprehensive understanding and execution of daily tasks while efficiently delivering services that meet operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and deliver various mobile security services while operating the company patrol vehicle in accordance with site-specific instructions.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate reports using company technology and software during each shift.
  • Consistently arrive on time for shifts, adhere to time commitments, and follow dress code standards.
  • Engage with internal and external customers on-site to foster a customer service-oriented relationship.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Advanced Patrol Agent and/or the Branch Patrol Supervisor regarding any customer or property-related information.
  • Be responsible for the assigned vehicle during shifts, including maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Care for any Signal equipment assigned during shifts, including radios and access keys/cards.
  • Manage daily activities while meeting key performance benchmarks set by the Branch Patrol Supervisor.
  • Effectively de-escalate issues through professional communication.
  • Collaborate with the Branch Patrol Supervisor to share and receive information, ensuring operational excellence.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Pass a background check and drug screening
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record are mandatory
  • Reliable transportation is essential
  • Complete training modules within the first month of employment
  • Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills
  • Commitment to service and professionalism at all times
  • Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 20 pounds
