Dining Services Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Renaissance Retirement Residence. As a key member of our dining services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of food preparation and portioning staff, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
- Tray Assembly: Supervise and inspect the assembly of trays to ensure quality and presentation.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role or equivalent experience.
- Work Setting: Relocation costs covered by employer, with a work setting in a retirement home.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, and a team player attitude.
