Job Summary

This opportunity will provide hands-on experience within the regulatory reporting team on daily regulatory reporting obligations, control and oversight, monthly client deliverables and quarterly regulatory filings under a broad range of regulations in multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily transaction reporting processes across a number of MiFIR, EMIR and ASIC regulations, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
  • Undertake regular oversight processes over various transaction reporting obligations
  • Investigate reporting issues identified through the reporting processes and oversight; develop solutions to address at source
  • Liaise with vendors, trading counterparties and internal stakeholders to resolve reporting issues identified
  • Help produce metrics to determine the overall health of the regulatory reporting process and support the prioritization of remediation book of work
  • Assist in the filing of periodic regulatory reports such as AIFMD, Form ADV, CTA, CPO-PQR, Form PF, etc.
  • Support the team in project-related work as required
  • Develop and maintain expertise in the reporting infrastructure
Requirements
  • Some experience with EMIR, MiFIR, ASIC and/or SFTR reporting – either from an asset manager, investment bank, capital markets or related vendor
  • Functional understanding of UK and European regulations EMIR; MiFIR; SFTR including their scope and purpose
  • Functional understanding of different asset classes and instrument types
  • Solution-focused individual with a desire to use their own initiative
  • Analytical ability to investigate and triage reporting exceptions/validations
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to undertake a number of tasks and projects concurrently
