Network Infrastructure Specialist

Gill Multimedia Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join our team. As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.
Key Responsibilities- Network Installation and Configuration: Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to ensure seamless network operations.
- Problem-Solving and Support: Provide problem-solving services to network users, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of technical issues.
- Security and Compliance: Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to protect the network and its users.
- Network Maintenance: Perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures, maintain control records, and ensure network uptime.
- Backup and Recovery: Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations to ensure business continuity.
- Performance Optimization: Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance to ensure efficient network operations.
- Team Leadership: Supervise technical staff and provide guidance and support to ensure team success.
- Mentorship and Coaching: Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for persons with disabilities, newcomers and/or refugees, youth, Veterans, Indigenous people, and mature workers.
- Language and Work Environment: Langue de travail: Anglais, Heures de travail: 40 hours per week.
