Job Title: Construction Labourer

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Knappett Industries Ltd. 2006. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Construction Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the construction site.
  • Perform Pre-Operational Inspection: Conduct pre-operational inspections to ensure that equipment and machinery are in good working condition.
  • Assist in Aligning Pipes: Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction to ensure a safe and efficient process.
  • Level Earth: Level earth to fine grade specifications to ensure a stable and even surface.
  • Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or recycling.
  • Clean Up Chemical Spills: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Remove Rubble and Debris: Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
  • Tend or Feed Machines: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction to ensure efficient operation.
  • Direct Traffic: Direct traffic at or near construction sites to ensure a safe and efficient flow of traffic.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Work Site Environment: The successful candidate will be required to work outdoors, at heights, in confined spaces, and in dusty and hot environments.
  • Work Setting: The successful candidate will be required to work in a construction setting.
