Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse (RN/RPN/LPN) to join our multidisciplinary team at Coast Mental Health. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to individuals with mental health challenges, working collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to promote recovery and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions, including pharmacotherapy, crisis intervention, and education, to support clients in achieving their recovery goals.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans that address physical and mental health needs.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure clients are receiving optimal care and make adjustments to care plans as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community resources and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved school of Nursing with current practicing membership with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • At least three years of recent related experience in mental health and addiction, either in a hospital or community setting.
  • Ability to provide/obtain a valid First Aid Certificate, a valid Class 5 B.C. Driver's License, and access to a vehicle.
