**Accounting Support Role at YWCA Metro Vancouver**

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team at YWCA Metro Vancouver. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing accounting support to our building communities and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable listings.
  • Manage security deposits and ensure timely processing.
  • Post journal entries in Sage 300 with precision and attention to detail.
  • Assist with grant reporting and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform account analysis and reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Support budgeting and audit preparation processes.
  • Manage inventory of client bus tickets and gift cards.
  • Perform other finance-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience or equivalent education and training.
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail in financial transactions.
  • Proficient in Excel and other accounting software.
  • Experience with Arcori Property Management system and Sage 300 is an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • A valid clear criminal record check is required.
