Front Desk Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Banff Caribou Properties Ltd.
Job Summary:The Front Desk Agent will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.
Key Responsibilities:- Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
- Reservations: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations.
- Customer Service: Investigate complaints and claims, resolve issues, and provide general information about points of interest in the area.
- Administrative Tasks: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, and maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and assist clients/guests with special needs.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Will train.
- Work Environment: Hotel, motel, resort.
- Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods, work under pressure.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, reliability, team player.
