Kitchen Helper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Crave Station Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes and utensils are properly cleaned and stored, and assisting with food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, and cleaning and sanitizing work surfaces, cupboards, and appliances.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and load and unload buspans and trays.
  • Carry and replace linen, and clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Assist with food preparation and service, including portioning and wrapping foods, and sharpening kitchen knives.
  • Handle and store cleaning products, and remove kitchen garbage and trash.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and reliability.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
