About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Systems Specialist to join our team at Belief Tech Development. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our database systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Collection and Analysis

Collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement within our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring that our systems are optimized for maximum efficiency.

Database Development and Implementation

Develop and implement a strategic blueprint for deploying databases within our organization, ensuring that our systems are scalable and secure.

Data Administration and Policy

Develop and implement data administration policy, standards, and models, ensuring that our data is accurate, reliable, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Technical Expertise

Operate database management systems to analyze data, and test data models and database management systems to ensure that they meet our organization's needs.

Requirements
  • Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in database systems development and administration.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in MySQL, database software, MS Office, MS Windows, and SQL.

  • Organizational Skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Communication Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with staff on data requirements, collection, and availability.
