About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bar Service Professional to join our team at 2386923 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our service staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our patrons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance
    • Clean the bar area and wash glassware to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
    • Clean the draft beer system to ensure optimal performance.
  • Customer Service
    • Advise customers on wine selection and provide recommendations on drink options.
    • Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons.
  • Inventory Management
    • Order bar stock and maintain inventory and control of bar stock.
  • Financial Transactions
    • Collect cash, credit/debit cards, or other payment for beverages.
    • Record and balance beverage sales.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
  • Preparation and Service
    • Prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
    Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Work Conditions
      • Work in a fast-paced environment.
      • Work under pressure.
    • Physical Capabilities
      • Stand for extended periods.

Requirements

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience.

Working Conditions

  • Permanent position.
  • 35 hours per week.
  • Work Language: English.
