About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic Apprentice to join our team at Begg Industrial Services. As a Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic Apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced mechanics in the maintenance and repair of heavy-duty equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ordering and Inventory Management: You will be responsible for ordering parts and maintaining inventory levels to ensure that our equipment is properly stocked and ready for use.
  • Maintenance Reporting: You will be responsible for keeping accurate maintenance reports and documentation to track the condition and maintenance history of our equipment.
  • Repair Work: You will assist our experienced mechanics in performing repair work on heavy trucks and other heavy-duty equipment.
Security and Safety Requirements
  • Driving Record Check: You will be required to undergo a driving record check to ensure that you have a clean driving record.
  • Drug Test: You will be required to undergo a drug test to ensure that you are fit to work in a safety-sensitive environment.
  • Driver's Validity Licence Check: You will be required to have a valid driver's license to operate our equipment.
