Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Branch Manager to oversee all dealership operations, including Service, Parts, and Administration. The ideal candidate will have exceptional people leadership skills, meticulous planning and organizational expertise, and a proven track record of achieving business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all dealership operations, including Service, Parts, and Administration.
  • Empower, engage, coach, and mentor team members to create a culture and processes that achieve short and long-term business goals and objectives.
  • Lead and develop strategic plans to drive profitability.
  • Establish and maintain a proactive, ongoing, and engaged dialogue at all levels of the organization, and with customers, vendors, etc.
  • Promote Dawson Group's Core Values: People, Integrity, Respect, and Excellence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, the local community, and industry partners.
  • Ensure compliance with all external and internal regulations and standards.
  • Promote a safe and equitable work environment focused on customer service.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years in a Dealership leadership role or equivalent experience in Parts Sales and/or Service Sales is an asset.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Understanding lean management principles or training is an asset.
  • Proven record of hiring, training, and retaining team members.
  • Desire to execute Best in Class business results.
  • Ability to create and implement change management strategies.
  • Strong strategic and customer focus with a clear understanding of the wider issues impacting the relevant markets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers, vendors, and employees.
  • Ability to coach, motivate, and communicate with others at all levels.
  • Proactive problem solver and task-oriented.
