About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Interior Health Authority. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will play a key role in advancing nursing practice, improving client outcomes, and leading quality and safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines and standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve client outcomes and quality of care.
  • Lead quality and safety initiatives, including the development and implementation of quality improvement projects.
  • Provide education and training to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in research and evaluation activities to inform practice and improve client outcomes.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in nursing or related field.
  • Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a clinical leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
