Distribution Centre Manager

Job Summary
The Distribution Centre Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution centre. This individual will be responsible for supervising the distribution operations, managing the DC team, and developing strategies to improve customer service and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the distribution team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory management, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of logistics operations.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and customer interactions.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
- College diploma in a related field, or equivalent work experience in distribution, logistics, and customer service.
- Proven leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and logistics software.
- Experience working in a unionized environment is an asset.
