Position Overview

Base Salary - $52,500 + Profit Sharing

We are in search of new or recent graduates to join our Management Development Program. This full-time, salaried role comes with a comprehensive benefits package and the potential for profit sharing.

Please be aware that successful candidates may need to relocate within Canada for training purposes. Relocation assistance will be provided, with opportunities available nationwide.

Role Responsibilities:

As a Management Trainee, you will navigate through a structured 4-phase program designed to familiarize you with every facet of our operations – from logistics and customer service to management and employee development. You will cultivate relationships with our customers by managing your own sales territory and delivering exceptional service. You will receive mentorship and support from experienced managers and colleagues across Canada to help you build a successful management career at EMCO.

Program Structure:

Phase 1: Warehouse and Customer Service – Develop your product knowledge and gain practical experience in the logistical aspects of our business, understanding how our products reach the customer. You will engage in customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory control, credit management, and financial reporting.

Phase 2: Customer Relationships and Procurement – Transition from addressing customer service inquiries to managing large-scale projects and resolving complex issues. Build relationships with customers and suppliers while learning to interpret blueprints to prepare material quotes for their projects.

Phase 3: Account Management and Proactive Sales – Focus on business development by identifying new opportunities, selling our products, negotiating contracts, and fostering long-term customer partnerships.

Phase 4: Leadership and Operations – Take the lead by providing strategic direction, mentoring your team, and managing business operations while enhancing your leadership skills and setting a clear vision.

Upon completing the training phases, you will be well-prepared to take on managerial responsibilities at one of our Canadian Profit Center locations.

Candidate Qualifications
  • University degree or college diploma – all fields of study are welcome

  • Valid driver's license
