Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Waste Management Operator to join our team at Impact Staffing Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient collection and disposal of waste in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate various vehicles and equipment, including garbage trucks, to collect and transport waste to disposal sites.
  • Report any malfunctions or issues with equipment to the supervisor.
  • Work in a variety of locations, including residential and commercial areas, and may be required to work in hot, odorous, and wet/damp environments.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve operational goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • DZ class license and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or industry.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in physically demanding environments.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including on-call and temporary assignments.
