Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Supply Chain Manager to lead our regional supply chain optimization, cost improvement, and supplier performance initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing risk management programs across the supply chain and assisting the Global VP, Supply Chain in driving supply chain strategic programs across Lumentum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement key performance metrics to measure and continuously improve regional supply chain optimization, cost improvement, and supplier performance.

  • Assist the Global VP, Supply Chain in managing and driving supply chain strategic programs across Lumentum, including supply chain process enhancements and factory transfers.

  • Manage Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) Programs, including developing and implementing scalable and sustainable solutions to measure and reduce risk exposure.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with leaders across different functional areas within the supply chain and other functions.

  • Collaborate with in-house engineering, estimating, manufacturing, warehousing, and field teams to deliver continuous improvements to the business.

  • Lead supply improvement initiatives across Lumentum's materials and other product spend, including sourcing initiatives for optimized materials and building new supply chains for materials for innovative research and development initiatives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of demonstrated success and experience in supply chain, preferably in the optical, electronics, or electrical industry.

  • 3-5 years of management/leadership experience.

  • Experience managing SC risk management and analytics functions.

  • Knowledge and understanding of sourcing strategy, electrical and optical industry products.

  • Excellent management skills, timely decision-making, and effective delegation to ensure goals are achieved and financial objectives are met.

  • Superb business judgment, strong strategic planning, and analytic skills, as well as a proven capacity for rendering cost-conscious, objective business decisions.

  • Proven effectiveness in people leadership, people development, and team building.

  • Able to work effectively in a team and/or matrix management environment, and lead people through change as the company grows.

  • Demonstrates presence and earns respect among fellow managers and executives both within and outside the Company.

  • Skilled in systems and tools, especially MS Office, Oracle, and other PDH systems.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business.
