Financial Planning Director

Amilia Enterprises Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Director to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for driving financial efficiency and strategic decision-making within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Refine our financial systems, including the launch of a new ERP and collaboration with our product team.
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and management of ERP systems and financial technology.
  • Optimize daily cash flow and manage foreign exchange and interest rate risks.
  • Provide financial expertise to support the product management team as a subject matter expert, particularly in accounting and reporting features.
  • Oversee procurement processes, including negotiation and management of software licenses.
  • Assist the CFO during financing activities.
  • Supervise the monthly closing process, ensuring accurate financial analysis and timely reporting.
  • Oversee payroll production and government remittances.
  • Lead the annual financial audit and finalize audited financial statements.
  • Engage with department leaders to review performance against budgets and previous years.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment is an asset.
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with accounting systems like Xero or NetSuite is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills in both French and English.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software tools.
