Plant Operations Manager

Fresh Prep is seeking a highly skilled Plant Manager to lead our food production operations in Montreal. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe production of our meal kits.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs
- Manage and maintain equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team, providing coaching and development opportunities
- Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to drive innovation and growth
- 5-7 years of experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment, including cost management, production planning, inventory control, quality control, and continuous improvement
- 3-5 years of experience leading a high-performing management team and developing talents
- Lean Six Sigma certification is considered a significant asset
- Ability to demonstrate successes in driving operational improvements while ensuring daily performance
- Highly professional attitude and diplomatic skills, ability to establish effective partnerships at all levels of the organization as a collaborative team player
- Experience in developing, communicating, and analyzing financial performance metrics for facilities
- Experience in food processing technologies
