  • Assist in investigating and analyzing good catches, close calls, and incidents, determining root causes, contributing factors, and developing and communicating lessons learned through incident reports and weekly safety meetings.
  • Assist in tracking required HSE statistical data, using it to plan improvement initiatives and provide relevant and actionable information to operational and HSE leaders.
  • Provide emergency care evaluation and first aid, when required, ensure injured worker is medically evaluated and treated, if needed, and oversee case management follow-up as it relates to the return to work and restricted duty programs.
  • Assist in the implementation of the Corporate Fit for Duty Program.

  • Other duties (not listed) may be assigned to this job at any time.

Requirements

  • Ability to appropriately communicate, both verbally and in writing, to different types of audiences, such as field employees, managers, executives, and clients.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all relevant federal, state/provincial, local, company, and client HSEQ standards.
  • Ability to collaborate, negotiate, troubleshoot, and problem-solve with field employees and operational, HSEQ, and client leaders.
  • Ability to recognize and risk-rank hazards associated with routine and non-routine tasks, stopping the work when necessary to mitigate risk and ensure HSEQ compliance.
  • Ability to manage and organize multiple priorities while maintaining a positive, customer service focus.
  • Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
  • Pass DMV, background, and drug screen.
  • Work efficiently with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Education and Experience
