Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team at Fraser Plastics Ltd. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload products and materials from trucks, containers, and storage areas
  • Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
  • Weigh materials and goods to ensure accurate inventory
  • Wrap and pack goods for shipping and storage
  • Sort, crate, and stack goods for efficient storage and transportation
  • Install, lash, and secure goods for safe transportation
  • Store cargo and materials in a safe and organized manner
Work Environment

As a Material Handler, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding role. You must be able to bend, crouch, and kneel to perform tasks.

Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
  • Adaptability and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
