Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operations Supervisor

Mianco Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Operations Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our heavy equipment operators and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of heavy equipment operators to ensure efficient and safe operation of equipment.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Estimate costs and materials for equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Prepare production and other reports to track equipment performance and maintenance.
  • Coordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers to ensure smooth operation of equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand equipment specifications and requirements.
  • Recommend personnel actions and requisition materials and supplies as needed.
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
Requirements:
  • 11-15 years of experience in heavy equipment operations or a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work conditions and priorities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
Work Environment:
  • On the road job with frequent travel to different work sites.
  • Permanent position with 35-40 hours of work per week.
  • English is the primary language of communication.
