Job Title: Regulatory Law Clerk

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Law Clerk to support our client's Regulatory Law Practice Group. The successful candidate will:

* Review client documents and prepare affidavits of documents/disclosure briefs
* Prepare agreements and other legal documents under direction, often from precedents
* Prepare hearing and appeal/judicial review materials in accordance with the various Rules of Procedure and Practice Directions
* Trial preparation, including preparing document briefs and compendiums
* Assist in the preparation of both lawyers and clients for examinations and hearings
* Schedule examinations for discovery and prepare notices of examination
* Review and summarize transcripts of examinations and prepare undertakings charts, refusals, etc.
* Prepare charts, chronologies, and summaries of document evidence for use in hearings
* Prepare correspondence
* Act as commissioner to take oaths
* Other duties as assigned

What You Bring

As the ideal candidate, you possess:

* 2+ years of experience in commercial litigation or regulatory law
* Post-secondary education with a Law Clerk designation
* Excellent time management, communication, and writing skills
* Knowledge of E-Discovery
