Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Environmental Scientist to join our Environmental Assessment and Approvals team in Halifax, NS. The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental science and a proven track record of delivering high-quality services to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver environmental assessment and approvals services to clients, including project planning and management, public engagement, and regulatory support.
  • Conduct and manage technical projects for clients, including baseline surveys, sample collection, and monitoring.
  • Develop and implement methodologies for environmental projects, including organizing field programs and coordinating logistics.
  • Prepare technical reports and deliverables for clients, including analytical tables and estimates.
  • Support existing teams and work independently to deliver projects to a high standard.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and regulatory agencies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in biology, ecology, or related environmental discipline.
  • Minimum 7-10 years environmental experience.
  • Relevant professional designation (e.g. P. Biol, EP) an asset.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
