General Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Store Manager to join our team at VERSION 6 CAR RENTAL INC. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our car rental agency in an urban setting.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Management
- Direct and control daily operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Plan and organize daily operations to meet business objectives.
- Staff Management
- Manage a team of 5-10 staff members, including recruiting, hiring, and supervising.
- Assign duties and responsibilities to staff members to ensure effective use of resources.
- Marketing and Sales
- Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and competitor activity.
- Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and develop and implement marketing strategies to promote them.
- Financial Management
- Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure financial stability.
- Determine staffing requirements and manage staff costs.
- Customer Service
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 5 years or more of experience in a retail or operations management role.
- Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
