Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Rock Truck Driver to join our team. As a Rock Truck Driver, you'll play a pivotal role in the dynamic world of heavy civil construction. You'll be responsible for hauling materials to different locations on a project, ensuring timely and efficient completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hauling materials in a 40T rock truck
  • Loading and dumping materials
  • Operating machine controls smoothly
  • Performing routine equipment inspections to ensure optimal functionality and safety
  • Adhering to project specifications and guidelines to maintain quality standards
  • Championing our safety culture by adhering to Morgan's Safe Work Procedures and PPE policies
  • Exhibiting exceptional judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborating effectively with team members and taking ownership of tasks
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience operating a 40T rock truck in heavy civil earthworks, construction, mining, or oilfield maintenance services industry
  • Must have (or be willing and able to obtain) CSTS-09/OSSA Regional or BSO or CSO, Intermediate First Aid, H2S Alive, and/or Awareness, Bear Awareness
  • Able to shovel out equipment tracks
  • Provide own steel-toed 6" lace-up boots (CSA Approved)
  • Able to repetitively and safely lift up to 50lbs
  • Alcohol, Drug, and fit-to-work testing is a pre-employment requirement
Working Conditions
  • Working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Handling noise and vibrations on the job
  • Working up to 12 hours a day
  • Working day or night shifts
  • Working in remote areas with accommodation provided
  • Fly-In/Fly-Out and Drive-In/Drive-Out opportunities
