About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Primary Health Care Nurse to join our team in Pelly Crossing, Yukon. As a member of our Community Nursing Branch, you will play a vital role in providing primary care and emergency treatment services to individuals and families in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary health services, including emergency care, health education, and disease prevention
  • Assist with the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of public health and education programs
  • Work effectively with registered nurses and other health and social services practitioners to provide primary health care to the community
  • Travel by air and road to provide care in and out of health centers
Requirements
  • Baccalaureate in Nursing
  • Current registration with a Canadian registered nursing regulatory authority
  • Recent substantial experience working in emergency
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification
  • Certification or education in the expanded nursing role is considered an asset
