Food and Beverage Processing Supervisor

The Food and Beverage Processing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations within the food service sector. This role requires a strong focus on staff training, adherence to safety protocols, and compliance with company policies.
Educational Requirements- No formal degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
- Conduct training sessions for employees on job responsibilities and safety measures.
- Compile and present production reports and other relevant documentation.
- Manage, coordinate, and schedule the activities of team members, ensuring efficient workflow.
Supervision of a small team, typically ranging from 1 to 2 individuals.
Certifications and Licenses- Possession of a Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Certificate is preferred.
- Familiarity with CIP (Cleaning In Place) and SIP (Sanitizing in Place) systems.
- Understanding of Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) regulations.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance for machinery and equipment is essential.
- A criminal record check is required.
- Fast-paced and dynamic work setting.
- Attention to detail is crucial.
- Overtime may be necessary.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong oral communication skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability in various situations.
- Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Highly organized and dependable.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role.
- This is a permanent position with a work schedule of 25 to 40 hours per week.
- Working language is English.
