Job Title: Truck Driver

Vindico Transportation Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Route Planning: Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
  • Vehicle Operation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Emergency Repairs: Perform emergency roadside repairs as needed.
  • Inspections: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
  • Documentation: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willing to train.
  • Communication: Proficient in using Citizens Band (CB) radio and GPS navigation equipment.
  • Security and Safety: Pass a criminal record check, driver's validity license check, and driving record check.
  • Travel: Willing to travel for extended periods and overnight.
