Accounts Receivable Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our team at Eastside Movement for Business and Economic Renewal Society. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our accounts receivable team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer payments, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Manage and supervise a team of accounts receivable staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and timely resolution of customer inquiries.
- Develop and implement effective processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity in the accounts receivable department.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer issues.
- Monitor and analyze accounts receivable data to identify trends and areas for improvement, making recommendations to management to optimize cash flow and reduce bad debt.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to data privacy and security.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as finance or accounting.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field, with a proven track record of success in a supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software.
