Job Title: Storage Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Storage Systems Engineer to join our team at SPECTRAFORCE. As a Storage Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex storage systems to ensure high availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement storage solutions using PMAX, AFF/FAS filers, Brocade SAN switches, and other storage technologies.
  • Configure and manage storage systems, including SAN migration using SRDF and PMAX provisioning process using Solution Enabler CLI.
  • Monitor storage system performance, troubleshoot issues, and take corrective action to ensure optimal storage resource utilization.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including storage system configurations and troubleshooting guides.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of storage systems with other IT infrastructure components.
Requirements:
  • Strong background in SAN administration, including PMAX, Storage Provisioning process, Zonning, Solution Enabler, SRDF, Clones, Unisphere, Performance Manager, PowerPath, FAST, Thin Provisioning, RAID, and SAN troubleshooting.
  • Good knowledge of Pure Storage administration and Brocade SAN switches.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages, such as Python or Perl.
  • Expertise in SAN migration using SRDF and PMAX provisioning process using Solution Enabler CLI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex storage-related issues.
