Job Title: Restaurant Cashier

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Cashier to join our team at Chicken Delight. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating our cash register system, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Handle customer payments, including cash, credit, and debit transactions
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the cash register area and surrounding environment
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a cash handling role an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
