We are seeking a highly skilled Master Electrician to join our team at Power Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting our clients with electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance according to project requirements and industry standards.
  • Interpret and follow electrical blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to ensure accurate and efficient work.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards to protect our clients and their properties.
  • Collaborate with project managers and team members to develop project plans and timelines, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Coordinate with clients to provide excellent customer service and ensure their needs are met.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including material usage and time spent, to facilitate efficient project management and billing.
  • Perform initial site inspections to identify potential issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Liaise with our DC panel installation team to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Fill out necessary forms for service panel upgrades for clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Design and implement single-line diagrams to visualize electrical systems and ensure efficient operation.
  • Install and maintain solar systems, including grid tie-ins and off-grid battery-based systems.
  • Perform service upgrades, meter base and service relocations, meter base installations, and panelboard swap-outs.
  • Install and maintain generators, auto transfer switches, and EV chargers.
  • Perform general residential electrical work, including ESA permits and inspections.
  • Prior experience installing solar inverters and system monitoring is an asset.

Requirements:

  • Own vehicle for travel to client sites.
  • Own tools and equipment necessary for the job.
  • Master Electrician license with the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA).
  • Working from heights certification.

Job Type: Full-time, on-site, on-the-road.

Schedule: Monday to Friday.

License/Certification:

  • Master Electrician ESA License (required).
  • Driver's License (required).
  • Working at heights certification (preferred).
