Job Title: Millwright Technician

We are seeking a skilled Millwright Technician to join our team at DOMTECH INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical equipment and stationary industrial machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and install mechanical equipment and stationary industrial machinery
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Construct foundations for machinery
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts
  • Supervise other workers
  • Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts
  • Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
  • Install machinery and equipment
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
  • Commission systems and components
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced industrial environment with a focus on safety and quality. The position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
