About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dspot Dessert Cafe. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for staff, ensuring that they are fair, reasonable, and meet the needs of the business.
Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor at Dspot Dessert Cafe, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for long periods, walk, and use your hands to perform tasks. You will also need to have excellent attention to detail and be able to work well under pressure.

Requirements
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service establishment, with a focus on supervisory or management roles.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
