Marketing Portfolio Specialist Role

FortisBC is seeking a skilled Marketing Portfolio Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and supporting the implementation of the Conservation and Energy Management (C&EM) communications budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with C&EM program teams to identify and prioritize communications requirements.
  • Develop and implement streamlined processes to optimize projects shared between Communications and C&EM groups.
  • Effectively manage quarterly resourcing with External Communications, resulting in the successful execution of C&EM communications objectives and priorities.
  • Support the day-to-day tracking and forecasting of the Conservation and Energy Management communications budget.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree or diploma in marketing, communications, business, or a related discipline from a recognized program, plus a minimum of three years of recent, related experience working in product/program development, marketing, and sales.
  • Exceptional communications skills with extensive knowledge of developing impactful communication strategies.
  • Excellent strategic thinking for understanding departmental stakeholder goals and connecting messaging with overall business objectives.
  • Demonstrated project management skills for developing communications strategies, identifying tactics and channels, planning budgets, and coordinating deliverables amongst internal stakeholders.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and a solutions-oriented mindset for collaborating with internal partners and coordinating marketing programs that address the needs of the business.
  • Great analytical skills to identify and implement process improvements to enhance future communications programs and improve collaboration between teams.
