About the Job

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Les Jardins d'Évangéline inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized environment for our customers and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, including dishwashers, carts, and waste disposal units.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Store dishes and other items in a clean and organized manner.
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Scour pots and pans to ensure they are clean and free of food residue.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Handle and store cleaning products safely and efficiently.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash on a regular basis.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks, such as washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
