Job Overview

Aramark is seeking a skilled and professional Catering Lead to join our team at Dalhousie Food Services. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing catering orders, and ensuring seamless event execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding service to all customers and clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Catering Operations: Deliver catering supplies, including tables, chairs, linens, and cutlery to event spaces, and manage catering orders, including hot and cold foods.
  • Event Execution: Assist in the set-up and take-down of events, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Communication: Respond to customer questions and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with preparing and managing invoices, and maintain accurate records.
  • Adherence to Policies: Adhere to all Aramark policies and procedures, including occupational health and safety and food safety.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years' experience in customer service/catering required.
  • Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Appearance: Must maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.
  • Vision: Must be able to see without impairment for inspection purposes and ability to read small text such as product warning labels.
  • Lifting: Must be able to lift, push, and pull min. 45 lbs.
