Job Title: Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic

Fast Track Appliances Ltd is seeking a skilled Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, overhauling, and repairing heating and refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and overhaul heating systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Install equipment in refrigerated trucks used to transport food or medical supplies, adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
  • Install refrigeration systems, including measuring and laying out reference points for installation.
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for clients, providing detailed estimates and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot heating systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components, ensuring precise fit and function.
  • Measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Handle, recover, and store refrigerants, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal performance.
